Hauser, Howard, Cropas, Abbot in Aloha Classic final

Eight competitors remain in men’s pro division

Sarah Hauser continued her run of first-place finishes in the Aloha Classic on Friday, claiming a spot in the final of the International Windsurfing Tour event at Hookipa Beach Park in Kuau.

Hauser had the top women’s score of the day, a 15.26, and has finished first in all three of her heats.

She will be joined in the final by Tatiana Howard, who won the other semifinal heat, as well as Shawna Cropas and Vickey Abbot.

The fourth round of the men’s pro division was also completed Friday, and produced the top three scores in any division so far in this year’s contest.

Kevin Pritchard had a 17.26 in his heat, Kai Lenny won his with a 17.16 and Camille Juban recorded a 16.93 for a first-place heat score of his own.

Lenny will be in the first semifinal heat with Morgan Noireaux, who has clinched this year’s series title and is seeking his third Aloha Classic win, as well as Bernd Roediger and Levi Siver.

Pritchard and Juban will be grouped with Graham Ezzy and Boujmaa Guilloul in the second semifinal.
