Na Alii defeat Bears 65-30 in MIL opener

Namahana Kaeo-Young scored 15 points to help the King Kekaulike High School girls basketball team open Maui Interscholastic League play with a 65-30 victory over Baldwin on Tuesday night at Na Alii’s gym in Pukalani.

Liane Tomita added 12 points — both she and Kaeo-Young sunk two 3-pointers — and Temahh Shaw had 11 points for Na Alii.

Taylor Manangan also hit a pair of 3s and led the Bears with 10 points.
