Seabury opens MIL slate with win over Lanai

Ameera Waterford scored 11 points to help lead the Seabury Hall girls basketball team to a 28-19 win over Lanai in the teams’ Maui Interscholastic League opener Friday at Erdman Athletic Center in Olinda.

Anaulei Tuivai and Rachel Gilbert each added eight points for the Spartans.

Arriana Maltezo led the Pine Lasses with seven points.

The teams play again today.
