Weather forces changes in MIL schedules

The Maui Interscholastic League season-opening girls soccer match between Baldwin High School and Seabury Hall was postponed due to weather and field conditions Thursday.
The game between the Bears and Spartans, which was to be played at Seabury’s field in Olinda, will be rescheduled.
The MIL season is now set to start today with the King Kekaulike and Maui High girls teams facing off at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku at 6 p.m.
Also on Thursday, organizers announced the first MIL canoe paddling meet of the season has been moved from Kahului Harbor to Ka Lae Pohaku in Kihei due to weather concerns. The meet will still be held Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
