The Maui News – The Lahainaluna High School girls basketball team finished its 10th straight unbeaten Maui Interscholastic League regular season with a 66-28 win over Maui High on senior night Thursday at the Lahaina Civic Center.

The Lunas said goodbye to six seniors on the night they recorded their 146th straight MIL victory. Maui High (5-7) fell to the No. 4 seed for the league tournament and will host Baldwin on Saturday for the right to play the top-seeded Lunas in the semifinals.

Braeanna Estabillo, the reigning MIL Division I Player of the Year, scored 20 points for the Lunas, while Susitina Namoa added 15.

Honey Let Padasdao led the Sabers with 10 points.

At Pukalani, the Warriors (7-5) clinched the No. 2 seed for the upcoming MIL tournament with a victory over the winless Bears (0-12).

Kimani Fernandez Roy scored 14 points and Ashley Peralta added 10 to lead Kamehameha Maui, which will face No. 3 seed King Kekaulike in an MIL semifinal on Monday at Maui High.

Alyssa Ordono led Baldwin with 12 points.

At Pukalani, Kamalu Segundo scored 24 points, hitting three 3-pointers, as the Warriors (4-5) pulled away to beat the Bears (2-7).

Austin Peters added 13 points — eight of which came in the fourth quarter — and Tiliti Adams finished with 11 for Kamehameha Maui, which held a one-point lead after three quarters.

Chayce Akaka had 25 points and Mochi Dukelow added 12 to lead Baldwin.
