Farmers deal Dragons first loss of season with sweep
MIL VOLLEYBALL
The Molokai High School boys volleyball team knocked Hana from the unbeaten ranks with a 25-22, 25-22, 25-16 sweep at “The Barn” in Hoolehua on Friday night in Maui Interscholastic League Division II play.
Kaina Adolpho, Nainoa Kahale and Kreole Pawn-White were reported as the the kills leaders for the Farmers (4-1), while Caele Manley led in digs, Keison Poaha-Alcon in assists and Vaai Seumalo in service aces, although no numbers were provided.
Nahinu Lind had 10 kills, two aces and a block, and Keoki Hoopai-Waikoloa had six aces and three kills for the Dragons (2-1). Yosef Moeai had 12 assists.
KING KEKAULIKE 3, BALDWIN 1
At Wailuku, Na Alii improved to 2-3 in MIL Division I with a 26-24, 25-19, 16-25, 25-18 win over Baldwin.
Mihi Mokiao had 12 kills for Na Alii, while Dominic Mesta added seven.
Tyrone Nakooka had 10 kills and Kanoho Haupu had six blocks for the Bears (0-5).
