Going strong in Pyeongchang
Evan Strong, a part-time Maui resident, made it through the first runs of qualifying for snowboard-cross at the Pyeongchang Paralympic Games today. Strong, the defending gold medalist in the event, had runs of 1 minute, 1.38 seconds and 59.40 seconds to qualify sixth among the final 16 competitors who have advanced.
