UH swept again by No. 10 Northridge
The third-ranked University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team lost its third straight match and was swept by No. 10 Cal State Northridge for the second straight day, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17 on Friday in California.
Stijn van Tilburg led UH (13-5, 1-3 Big West Conference) with 12 kills, but no other Rainbow Warrior had more than seven kills. Hawaii hit just .218 as a team.
King Kekaulike High School graduate Colton Cowell had a service error for his only statistics in the match for UH.
Cal State Northridge (12-7, 2-2) was led by Arvis Greene, who had 14 kills. The Matadors hit .368.
Hawaii plays Pepperdine on Sunday.
