Maui High gets past Baldwin in four sets

Ajah Rajvong had 12 kills to lead the Maui High School girls volleyball team to a four-set victory over Baldwin on Thursday night at Shine Matsui Athletic Center in Kahului.

The Sabers won 25-22, 25-20, 11-25, 25-15 to improve to 1-4 in Maui Interscholastic League play. The match was one of two MIL varsity contests on Thursday as high school athletics resumed after Tuesday’s league slate was postponed due to Tropical Storm Olivia.

Destiny Kama added 12 digs for Maui High.

The Bears (1-4) got 10 kills from Sela Panuve, while Tia Caulford had 13 digs.
