Rainbow Wahine defeat University of Idaho

The Maui News – The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team won its third straight match, beating Idaho in four sets on Thursday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

McKenna Granato had 19 kills and seven digs while hitting .410 to lead UH to a 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22 victory.

Sarah Liva and Natasha Burns each added nine kills for the Rainbow Wahine, who improved to 3-2 on the season.

The Vandals (4-3) got 20 kills from Kaela Straw and 13 from Sarah Sharp.

Hawaii plays Portland tonight and San Diego State on Sunday.
