The Baldwin High School cheerleading team continued its Maui Interscholastic League dominance Saturday, winning its third straight championship at the Bears’ Jon Garcia Gym in Wailuku.

With a team score of 505.75, the Bears secured another trip to the state championship, which will be held Nov. 17 at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu.

“I just kept pushing the team like I’ve been doing and hopefully we can pull off the state championship this year,” Baldwin coach Kealii Molina said.

Lahainaluna will be joining Baldwin at the state championship after finishing second with a 462.

Kamehameha Maui, Maui High and King Kekaulike rounded out the scoring with a 436.5, 434.25 and 360 points, respectively.
