Ex-Saber Bartolotti signs with UH
Former Maui High School pitcher Cira Bartolotti was part of the eight-player signing class announced by University of Hawaii softball coach Bob Coolen on Wednesday.
Bartolotti, a threat on the mound as well as at the plate, was the Maui Interscholastic League Player of the Year after helping the Sabers to the MIL championship as a freshman in 2016. She transfered to Kapolei on Oahu after her sophomore season.
“Cira’s strength is on the mound,” Coolen said. “She throws in the mid-60’s and will bring a confident demeanor in the circle. She has pitched in many high caliber games in both high school and travel ball, including winning a PGF National Championship.”
