Namoa leads Lunas to win over Na Alii

Susi Namoa scored 23 points, and the Lahainaluna High School girls basketball team remained undefeated with a 74-42 victory over King Kekaulike on Wednesday at Lahaina Civic Center.

Abby Akamaine had 14 points and Ashley Akamine added 13 as the Lunas improved to 8-0 in Maui Interscholastic League play.

The Lunas led 40-26 at halftime and outscored Na Alii 21-12 in the third quarter.

T.C. Pahukoa scored 13 points to lead Na Alii, who fell to 6-2 — their only losses this season have been to the Lunas. Namahana Kaeo-Young added 10 points for King Kekaulike.

In the boys game, Lahainaluna improved to 5-0 with a 56-41 win over King Kekaulike (0-5).
