Farmers outlast Spartans, take over top spot in D-II standings

The Molokai High School boys volleyball team took sole possession of first place in the Maui Interscholastic League standings after outlasting Seabury Hall in five sets Friday night at “The Barn” in Hoolehua.

Molokai held on for the 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 23-25, 15-9 victory. The Farmers and Spartans entered the first of their four regular-season matches against each other 6-0 in MIL Division II play.

Statistics were not reported.

The teams play again today.
