Na Alii remain unbeaten with win over Sabers

Taitum Jones scored four goals to help the King Kekaulike High School girls water polo team remain undefeated with a 12-8 win over Maui High on Thursday at Kihei Aquatic Center.

Ceci Buckingham had three goals, Montana DiSegna and Kuaola Emmsley each scored twice and Louisa Buckingham also scored for Na Alii, who improved to 4-0 in Maui Interscholastic League play.

Kylie Robinson scored three goals to lead the Sabers (2-2). Jasmine Clayton and Caroline Short each had two goals, and Ashlyn Robinson had one.

Na Alii next face defending MIL champion Baldwin on Saturday at Lahaina Aquatic Center — the Bears also improved to 4-0 Thursday, beating Lahainaluna 9-3.
