UH sweeps USC for 13th straight win

The fourth-ranked University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team swept No. 14 Southern Cal 25-13, 25-15, 25-18 on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Rado Parapunov had 10 kills and Austin Matautia added nine for UH, which won for the 13th time in a row to improve to 18-2 overall and 9-2 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
The Trojans (6-12, 5-9) were led by Aaron Strange, who had six kills.
Hawaii outhit USC .353 to negative-.011.
UH’s next matches are March 10 and 11, when Stanford visits the Stan Sheriff Center.
