Hawaii to play for title at Rainbow Wahine Classic

Emily Maglio had 11 kills and McKenna Granato added nine as the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team defeated South Dakota 25-19, 25-15, 25-13 on Friday in a Rainbow Wahine Classic match at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Maglio was error-free and finished with a .786 hitting percentage as UH improved to 2-3. Granato also did not have an error and hit .391.
The Rainbow Wahine’s Norene Iosia had 24 assists and seven digs, and Savanah Kahakai also had seven digs.
Hayley Dotseth had 11 kills and eight digs for the Coyotes (1-4). Elizabeth Loschen and Rachel Schmidt each had seven kills, Anne Rasmussen had 12 digs and Brittany Jessen had 28 assists and six digs.
Hawaii will face Utah on Sunday for the tournament title.
