Rainbow Wahine sweep Lumberjacks, get above .500

The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team won its fourth straight match Saturday and moved over .500 for the first time this season, finishing the nonconference portion of its schedule by sweeping Northern Arizona 25-14, 25-12, 25-12 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Emily Maglio had 11 kills for the Rainbow Wahine (6-5), and McKenna Ross had 10. Savanah Kahakai had 17 digs, and Norene Iosia had 24 assists and 11 digs.

Kaylie Jorgensen had 10 kills for the Lumberjacks (4-7), who were also swept by UH on Friday.

Hawaii will face UC Irvine at home on Friday.
