Maglio leads UH to sweep of Northridge

Emily Maglio had a team-high 13 kills and five blocks, and the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team swept past Cal State Northridge 25-19, 25-21, 25-12 on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Natasha Burns added six kills, McKenna Granato had five kills, 11 digs and two aces, Norene Iosia had 26 assists and eight digs, Casey Castillo had five kills and Savanah Kahakai had 12 digs for the Rainbow Wahine (17-7, 11-2 Big West Conference).

Aeryn Owens led the Matadors (10-13, 4-7) with 11 kills.

UH hosts Long Beach State today in its home finale.
