Purdue ends UH’s win streak at four

Ae’Rianna Harris had 18 points to lead Purdue to a 79-67 win over the University of Hawaii women’s basketball team in a Rainbow Wahine Showdown game Saturday evening at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Dominique Oden and Lamina Cooper each had 14 points and Karissa McLaughlin added 12 for the Boilermakers (4-2), who never trailed in the game.

Sarah Toeaina scored 12 points to lead the Rainbow Wahine, who had their four-game winning streak snapped and fell to 4-2. Julissa Tago and Lahni Salanoa each added 11 points.

Hawaii closes the tournament today against Southern California.
