Police looking for shooter on the Big Island

KAILUA-KONA (AP) — Hawaii island authorities are looking for the person responsible for a shooting in the Honaunau area that left one man dead and two others injured.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser says the incident was first reported on Saturday afternoon.

Hawaii County Fire Department officials say the unidentified shooter fled the scene on a motorcycle.

One of the victims, a 39-year-old man, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Another unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No details were provided about the third victim.
