Sale of holiday treats to benefit culinary program

University of Hawaii Maui College Culinary Arts Program baking students — and their instructors, pastry chefs Hannah Stanchfield and Teresa Shurilla — are once again offering a wide range of holiday treats for sale. The sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the Pa’ina Building on UH-MC campus. Pre-orders may be placed at shop-mauiculinary.sodexomyway.com/gifts. All online orders must be picked up on Monday. All proceeds benefit the UH-MC Culinary Arts Program.

The menu includes traditional holiday stollen — $18.50; traditional Italian holiday panettone chocolate or dried fruit) — $10.50; deluxe bonbon box (32 pieces) $36; deluxe bonbon box (8 pieces) — $12.50; deluxe bonbon box (6 pieces) $8.50; deluxe bonbon box (4 pieces) — $6.50; holiday truffle box (8 pieces) $12.50; holiday truffle box (5 pieces) $10; nougat box — $6.50; peanut brittle — $6.50; fruit jellies (12 pieces) $8.50.
