CATCH FINAL DAYS OF ‘SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR’

ProArts Playhouse’s romantic comedy, “Same Time, Next Year,” presents final weekend with performances at 7:30 tonight through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the ProArts Playhouse located at Azeka Place Makai in Kihei. CHOREOGRAPHERS ‘BRING HOME’ ORIGINAL DANCES

Adaptations Dance Theater presents “Bring it Home 2018,” featuring original works by guest choreographers Nathaniel Hunt, Ali McKeon and ADT’s co-artistic director Hallie Hunt, at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at the ‘A’ali’ikuhonua Creative Arts Center on the Seabury Hall campus in Makawao. An opening night gala, beginning at 5:30 p.m., features beverages, pupu and live music. Tonight’s gala and performance are restricted to those 21 years old and older. Saturday’s show is open to all ages. Tickets to the opening night gala are $55. Saturday tickets are $29 for adults and $15 for students. CELEBRATE GREAT BUDDHA 50TH AT LAHAINA MISSION

Lahaina Jodo Mission commemorates the 50th anniversary of its Great Buddha (Daibutsu) and the 150th anniversary of the Gannenmon (Hawaii’s first Japanese immigrants) at annual Obon Festival beginning at 6 p.m. with a rededication ceremony of the Daibutsu and 6:30 p.m. Saturday with Obon service followed by floating lanterns presentation, Maui Taiko performance, Bon Dance and more. MAKAWAO TEMPLE HOLDS BAZAAR, GARAGE SALES

Makawao Buddhist Temple presents its annual garage sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and garage sale and bazaar featuring food and baked goods for sale from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday on Temple grounds at 1074 Makawao Ave. Garage sale items on both days include a selection of clothing, furniture, appliances, cookware and collectables. CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE PROVIDES SHOPPING FUN

Peruse a variety of household items, holiday decor and clothes and accessories for sale from 8 a.m. to noon at Kahului Union Church at 101 W. Kamehameha Ave. Hot food, baked goods, snacks and beverages are available for purchase and the HIZ band performs from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Admission is free. Proceeds benefit the church’s local Benevolent Ministry.

WORKSHOP HONES IN ON CRAFT OF WOODTURNING

The last woodturner to come out of the British apprentice system, Woodturner Stuart Allan Batty offers a woodturning demonstration and workshop emphasizing traditional tools and cutting techniques from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $75 and includes a one-year membership to the Maui Woodturners Association. EAT PIZZA AND HELP FUND BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Pukalani’s Marie DeJournette hosts fundraiser for breast cancer research from 5 to 9 p.m. at Flatbread Co. in Paia, which will donate 15 percent of food sales to Breast Cancer Prevention Partners. Peruse the silent auction, which will feature gift baskets from local businesses including Mana Foods, Mahina, North Shore Chiropractic and others.
