LITTLE BROTHER MARLON WAYANS BRINGS BIG COMEDY TO THE MACC STAGE.
Actor, producer, comedian, writer and film director, Marlon Wayans hits the stage with his standup act at 7:30 p.m. at the Castle Theater at Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. Wayans first-ever stand-up comedy special, “Woke-ish,” aired on Netflix earlier this year and he’s back on NBC with the second season of “Marlon,” in which he stars as a loving, but immature father co-parenting with his fiercely together ex-wife. The talented youngest child of the Wayans comedy dynasty is widely known for the “Scary Movie” franchise and his role as Marcus Copeland in “White Chicks.” This show contains adult themes and is recommended for mature audiences. Tickets are $45.50, $50.50, $55.50 and $59.50 (plus applicable fees) For tickets and more information, call 242-7469, visit the box office or go online at www.mauiarts.org.
