ADDED PERFORMANCE FOR “INTO THE WOODS”

MAPA Live! has added a performance tonight at 7:30 p.m. during the closing weekend for “Into the Woods.” This cerebral fantasy musical intertwines the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault. Additional performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $22 to $66 (plus applicable fees). FIFTH FRIDAY TOWN PARTY ON LANAI ROCKS

Come out to Lanai for Fifth Friday Town Party featuring over 25 vendors and participants set up around Dole Park, including ono food booths and restaurants serving up local favorites. In addition, enjoy music and entertainment venues. Local businesses displaying the Lanai Fifth Friday logo will offer discounts and specials. Shoppers save your receipts to receive a free waterproof Lanai bag or T-shirt with total purchases of $100 or more, or buy the bag for $5 with purchases totaling $50 or more. Receipts may be turned in at the Lanai Chamber of Commerce booth. For anyone coming from Maui, the LCC has teamed up with Expeditions Ferry to provide a special complimentary late-night return. Call Expeditions in advance to purchase a one-way ticket and to reserve a seat on the return ferry, which will depart Manele Harbor at 9:45 p.m. Expeditions can be reached at (808) 695-2624. Shuttle service between Manele Harbor and Dole Park will be available through Rabaca’s Limousine Service for $10 each way or $20 round trip — cash only. Kula Shofukuji Shingon celebrates Obon with a sunset service beginning at 6:30 p.m., Obon service at 6:45 p.m. and dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy ono grinds such as beef stew, nishime, chow fun, saimin, chili, hot dogs, andagi, skihan and bento. UPCOUNTRY FUNDRAISER FOR MANA’O RADIO

Join the fun from 2 to 5 p.m. at Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli in Makawao for Mana’o Radio’s Upcountry Sundays fundraiser. Headliners Deborah Vial Band celebrates the upcoming release of their new album. Also on the bill is Drew Martin with original slack key and folk blues. Opening the show is Eric Helmkamp and Justin Morris performing classic and original country music. Admission is $10 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting Mana’o Radio.
