HAWAII’S FINEST YOUNG MUSICIANS PERFORM IN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

Maui students and the public have the rare delight of observing the Hawaii Youth Symphony in action, accompanied by Hawaiian musician and Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winner Raiatea Helm, at a free President’s Day concert at 4 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater in Kahului. Under the direction of its new Music Director Dr. John Devlin, the orchestra brings its entire 110-member Youth Symphony I — the top orchestra within the Hawaii Youth Symphony nonprofit organization — to the Valley Isle, courtesy of Maui Waena Intermediate School and Kamehameha Schools Maui.
