Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Nico Muhly’s “Marnie” — a gripping reimagining of Winston Graham’s novel set in the 1950s about a mysterious young woman who assumes multiple identities (the book also inspired a film by Alfred Hitchcock). Mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard sings the enigmatic Marnie, and baritone Christopher Maltman is the man who pursues her — with disastrous results. Robert Spano conducts.

Fathom Events and Warner Bros. are bringing “Batman Mask of the Phantasm” to select cinemas nationwide for a special one-night event which includes the Looney Tunes short, “Rabbit Rider.” In this stylish animated film, Batman battles a dangerous new foe who is trying to frame the Dark Knight for the murder of a crime lord — and who is mysteriously linked to Bruce Wayne’s former girlfriend.

Diagnosed with AIDS in the 1980s, the flamboyant frontman reunites with the group for the benefit concert Live Aid — leading the band in one of the greatest performances in rock history.
