** “How To Create Your Online Course” webinar will be from 11 a.m. to noon today and Monday and from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. In this web class, learn how to easily create an online course using own knowledge, talent, expertise and life skills. Also, learn the easy strategies for controlling garden diseases. Cost is free.

** “Successful Container Gardening Strategies” will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday at Lumeria Maui, Makawao. In this hands-on presentation, learn an easy step-by-step process of creating eye-catching containers as well as excellent plant combinations using flowers, herbs, vegetables and even succulents. Learn about different types of containers to use, the right choice of soil media, plant material selection and combinations, and plant care and maintenance. Cost is $29.

• Business workshop with Mckenna Hallett titled “The Sales and Marketing Funnel –For Artists and Makers Only” will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. This series is dedicated to helping artists build thriving businesses. Presentation focuses on getting results from marketing efforts.

Converting interest into a purchase is the goal of everyone who has a website; it’s time to put all the parts to work. This workshop will include quick reviews of the previous three workshops and help put a tried-and-true plan into effect. Create the flow in your marketing plans that will increase the likelihood of a sale.

• Native Hawaiian Plant Society talk, “A Precious Species Depository: Long-term Storage of Native Hawaiian Plant Seeds” with Tamara Sherrill will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Tavares Community Center, Poolside Room, 91 Pukalani St., Pukalani.
