Thank You Letters

On behalf of the Maui Interscholastic League, I would like to thank Mayor Mike Victorino, Parks Director Karla Peters and her team of county workers for getting our facilities in top shape to host State Track and Field and Baseball tournaments earlier this month. It was truly a team effort and we appreciate their communication and effort to accommodate our concerns. We have the best facilities in the state to host state tournaments, and are thankful our kids can play in venues like these during the season. Hopefully they will keep up the good work throughout the year for all our sports leagues to enjoy. Mahalo!

Thank you to the Baldwin High School 2019 Project Grad committee, chaired by Vicki Soo Hoo. Soo Hoo worked tirelessly for a year to plan, finance and stage the event for 200 students to safely celebrate their high school graduation on May 17, 2019. Assisting Soo Hoo were parents Denise Black, April Takahashi, Curtis Tom, Amy Yamada, Glennis Ooka, Kari Ouchi, Christy Sakamoto and Tom Soo Hoo. Thank you to the many other volunteers and chaperones, and many sponsors who made this big event happen. The students had a great time, and most importantly, they all came home safely.
