Maui Sunday Market’s first anniversary celebration boasts big names, family bingo and so much more from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 28 in the Kahului Shopping Center parking lot.

Performances by Homestead Band from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. and “Hawaii’s Reggae Ambassador” Marty Dread from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. are a major draw, but the event will also feature food trucks, island vendors and family bingo from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Public admission and parking is free.

The Maui Sunday Market is presented by the Maui Food Technology Center and supported by the County of Maui Office of Economic Development.

The anniversary celebration is sponsored by Pacific Media Group and Alexander & Baldwin.

According to event co-founder and Maui Food Technology Center President Luana Mahi, “When we started the Maui Sunday Market, our goal was to create a sense of place where people could gather, mingle with friends and neighbors, support our local vendors, and absorb each other’s genuine aloha spirit. Today, this event has become a weekly tradition where residents and visitors are made to feel at home further strengthening our event’s sense of ‘ohana.”
