Thank You Letters

A big mahalo to Kahului Airport Transportation Security Administration. With lines backed up and angry passengers due to the fire, the TSA officers acted with the upmost professionalism. Our airport was able to operate diligently to get passengers out during and after the fire due to the quick actions and response of these TSA employees. Without them, the shelters would have been overflowing.

A big mahalo to the firefighters who are now heroes for saving the Maui Humane Society, home to so many animals in need. Your success at fighting these horrific fires brings thanks from a grateful community of people and pets.

A great big thank you to the wonderful, caring locals who helped us when my boys and I were unable to get back to our vacation rental due to the fires yesterday. Kudos to the firefighters who achieved 100 percent containment, and sincere condolences to anyone who suffered losses.
