• Kahului audiologist Dr. Richard Navarro has been named as a director-level business leader of the Shaklee Corp. of Pleasanton, Calif., according to an announcement from Love To Hear Again. Navarro received the designation last month during the Shaklee Global conference in Las Vegas.
• Kyle Caires of Haiku has been elected as a delegate to the 135th annual American Angus Association Convention of Delegates on Nov. 5 at the Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, according to an announcement.
Caires is a member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo. He’s one of 329 angus breeders who’ve been elected by their peers to serve as a representative at the annual meeting. Representing 44 states and the District of Columbia, the delegates will participate in a business meeting and elect new officers and five directors to the American Angus Association Board.
• Maui Brewing Co.’s national sales manager, Peter Scheider, has been recognized with the Sales & Marketing Executive of the Year during the 2018 Business Achievement Awards, hosted by Pacific Edge Magazine.
The award was presented during an event held last month at the Kahala Hotel & Resort on Oahu.
The award came in collaboration with the local chapter of Sales & Marketing Executive International. The honor recognizes a sales and marketing executive whose agility, exceptional performance and effective leadership have demonstrated notable achievement toward company objectives, including sales growth and improved company market share, adapting to any change in market and recognizing a leader among peers and/or in the community.
Maui Brewing Co. saw sales growth of more than 50 percent in 2016 and more than 40 percent in 2017 as the result of Scheider’s efforts, according to an announcement.
