Worthshop Series to be held at Andaz

Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers is hosting the fifth year of the Worthshop Series events Dec. 10-11 at the Andaz Maui at Wailea resort.

Founded on the idea that the world has plenty of conferences where people pitch, sell and then go back to their normal routine, Worthshop has a tradition of connecting executives from around the world with their deeper selves, according to a news release.

This year’s theme, “Talk Story,” brings together leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds to share and explore the power of storytelling and listening in business.

One of the featured speakers is video-game designer turned philanthropist Henk Rodgers. Rodgers lives in Hawaii and made headlines earlier this year for taking his home completely off the grid. He is the founder of the Blue Planet Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to clearing the path for clean energy. Other speakers include Brad Inman of Inman News; Mike Robbins, author of “Nothing Changes Until You Do”; actor Derek Miller, and others.

“Worthshop 5 is all about finding your true story and learning to better share it with the people who most need to hear it.” said Matt Beall, co-founder of Hawaii Life.

Each year the conference takes on a different theme and iteration.

“When we started Worthshop, we had no idea it would grow so quickly. It’s our honor each year to commune with like-minded professionals, hear their stories, and share a bit about what makes our home so very special,” said Beall.

Standard registration is $800, plus a $33.95 fee. Sale ends Monday. To book tickets for Worthshop, visit www.worthshops.com.
