Elemental queen crowned
Maui native Kailey Parker was crowned Miss Earth United States Air 2019 in the Miss Earth United States Pageant held in Washington, D.C., on July 14. The former reigning Miss Maui USA 2018, Parker gave up that title to represent Hawaii at the Miss Earth pageant. In preparation for the Miss Earth pageant, Parker partnered with local eco-conscious corporations and participated in more than 52 service projects, including beach cleanups on Maui and educational talks with island keiki and youths.
