Boy Scouts will recognize 2 honorees for leadership

The Maui County Council, Boy Scouts of America’s 2018 Hawaii Distinguished Citizen’s Dinner will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Maui in Kaanapali.

In the past, the board of directors has selected a citizen who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in his or her industry and has modeled selfless service to the organization’s 900-plus Scouts.

For the upcoming event, the board has chosen to present the evening’s award to two outstanding honorees:

• Ronald Fukumoto — president of Fukumoto Engineering.

• Erlinda Rosario — owner of six McDonald’s franchises on Maui.

Erlinda Rosario — owner of six McDonald’s franchises on Maui.

The community is invited to honor and pay tribute to these individuals.

Sponsorship levels for 10 guests:

Event Sponsor — $10,000; Eagle Sponsor — $5,000; Life Sponsor — $3,500; Star Sponsor — $2,500; and First Class Sponsor — $2,000.

Individual seats are $150 each.

The event will include a buffet dinner, entertainment and a silent auction.
