Maui AIDS Foundation to host Mardi Gras Maui

Maui AIDS Foundation will host Mardi Gras Maui at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Waikapu Ballroom of the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Wailuku. Tickets are on sale at and in person at Maui AIDS Foundation, 1935 Main St., Suite 101, in Wailuku.

VIP tickets for the King’s Feast are $140 and include dinner, prime entertainment, silent auction, photo booth and admission to the DJ After-party.

Tickets to the after-party are also available for $20 in advance and $30 at the door. This is a 21-and-older event.

The event benefits Maui AIDS Foundation, which provides services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, along with outreach, screening, testing and education for local communities at risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

“Mardi Gras has always been the most fabulous Maui event, and this year will be no exception,” said Maui AIDS Foundation Executive Director Mark Anderson. “We are excited to be back where the party first started, King Kamehameha Golf Club.”

People interested in sponsoring the event or donating items for the silent auction are asked to contact Daryl Fujiwara at 264-8779.
