Lahaina Arts Society will celebrate 52 years

The Lahaina Arts Society will have its annual membership meeting at 6 p.m. June 26 at the Pioneer Inn beginning with a blessing and light pupu. Entertainment will be by Maui band Kuikawa (Lukela Kane, Koakane Mattos and Joshua Kulhavy-Sutherland). They recently released a CD that includes the song “Aloha Kukaniloko.”

At 7, Amanda Michele (founder of Arts Enabler, dedicated to supporting artists) will give a talk titled “Tools for Success — Showing Your Art In Hawaii.”

LAS President Eric De Maria will introduce new and continuing board members and present the LAS Living Legend Award.

Executive Director Bill Smith will discuss accomplishments for 2019 and present the Kokua Award.

Past and present members are invited to enjoy this celebration of 52 years.
