Kihei Toastmasters Club installs officers
The Kihei Toastmasters Club begins installed new club officers July 2 with Ann Elaine Johnson as president and treasurer, Nick Ponte as vice president membership, Mary Murali as vice president public relations, Marie Alueta as secretary, and Kiyoshi Terada as sergeant-at-arms. The ceremony was conducted by the Maui Toastmasters’ Area Director Sarah Hambek.
Toastmasters is an international organization dedicated to improving the communication skills and leadership abilities of its members. The Kihei Club chartered in 1995 and meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the months at 6:15 p.m. in the Maui Meeting Place, 30 E. Lipoa St., No. 4-106
The club is seeking new members and invites anyone who is interested in self-improvement to visit a club meeting.
