Pukalani Superette customers appreciated
Pukalani Superette, “your easy-does-it store” since 1955, hosted its annual “Customer Appreciation Month” in October.
The winner of the first week’s prize drawing on Oct. 9 was Spenser Lau, who walked away with a $100 Pukalani Superette gift certificate. On Oct.16, Jade Kostka won an OGIO golf bag, a Maui Crisp gift basket and a Heineken cooler. And on Oct. 23, Billy Abreu was awarded $125 in assorted gift cards.
The grand prize, a two-night “staycation” at the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei, was won by Troy Kahalekai in the final drawing held on Oct. 31.
Co-owner Aric Nakashima, alongside his brother and co-owner Myles, was reminded of an old Japanese saying, “okage sama de,” which means “Because of you, we are.”
“We want to congratulate the prize winners, and express our sincere appreciation to our loyal customers and suppliers, because without them, we wouldn’t be here,” Aric Nakashima said.
