• UH Maui College, ‘Free Digital Literacy Courses’ will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., Wed. and Thurs. evenings through June 22nd. Students will learn basic computer operations and how to use the Internet, and create an email account through which they will receive additional free online resources for improving their digital skills and more. • Maui Health, 3rd Annual Community Stroke Awareness Fair! 5 p..m. Wednesday. The one hour program includes: a cooking demonstration with Chef Leslie from Kula Hospital, exercise tips with PT Caitlin Reese, and stroke prevention with Dr. Kimble Poon and neurology specialist Dr. Cordia Wan. • UH Maui College, Office of Extended Learning & Workforce Development is currently seeking applicants for a Dental Assisting Certificate program being offered with full tuition sponsorship. Classes for the 12-week course will be held on Wednesdays starting June 2nd through August 18th, including online lectures from 9 to 11 a.m. and on-campus labs from 1 to 4 pm. Students will also complete a clinical rotation at various local dental offices on occasional Mondays or Thursdays. Sponsored by UH Maui College and Hui No Ke Ola Pono.
