To have your class, workshop or presentation included in this free listing, email its title, instructor, location, dates, start / end times, cost and brief description to aheadoftheclass@mauinews.com. Due to the volume of submissions, items will be listed as close as possible to their start date; if a deadline to enroll is included, the event will be listed on the Saturday before deadline. High-res digital photos, depending on quality, are used if space permits. • Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise, scholarship application has been extended to June 30th. Applicants can be of any age to receive funds and training includes: apprenticeships, hands on learning or a variety of non-traditional formats. Three $1,000 scholarships are available. • UH Maui College, ‘Free Digital Literacy Courses’ will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings through June 22nd. Students will learn basic computer operations and how to use the Internet, and create an email account through which they will receive additional free online resources for improving their digital skills and more.
