Crivello, Ignacio join Maui Economic Opportunity board

Former Maui County Council Member Stacy Crivello and Hale Mahaolu Director of Personal Care Reuben Ignacio recently joined the Maui Economic Opportunity board of directors.

The nonprofit’s 21-member tripartite board must have at least one-third of its members from the resident sector, another third from the private sector and the final third from the government sector.

Ignacio represents Hale Mahaolu seniors in the resident sector of the board.

He was confirmed in June for a three-year term.

Crivello held the Molokai residency seat on the Maui County Council from 2013-18.

She is now the community liaison for Mayor Michael Victorino and represents the Office of the Mayor in the government sector of the board.

Her appointment was confirmed on Sept. 13, and she serves at the pleasure of the mayor.
