The state Real Estate Commission will hold its standing committee meetings on Maui in January and will take comments from residents on current and future programs.

The meetings will be held Jan. 11 at the Realtors Association of Maui, 441 Ala Makani Place in Kahului. At 9:30 a.m., the Laws and Rules Review Committee will convene, followed by the Condominium Review Committee and the Education Review Committee.

Members of the Real Estate Commission and the commission’s staff will be present. The meetings are open to the public.

During the committee meetings, a real estate specialist and condominium specialist will be available for individual meetings between 9:30 and 11 a.m., or by appointment to answer questions about licensing laws and applications, broker experience certificate applications, new legislation, educational programs, condominium boards, association meetings, managing agents, fidelity bonding and other related topics.
