Tena Boson of Lewiston, Idaho, snaps a photo of daughter Sophia, 14, and son Eli, 8, at Kepaniwai Park on Monday afternoon. The county reopened the park to the public on Monday, seven months after heavy flooding damaged the facilities. The Bosons were among the many visiors and residents who came to enjoy the quiet gardens and nearby Wailuku River. The park will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The Iao Valley State Monument up the road remains closed.
