Maui Police Department Chief Tivoli Faaumu has received high marks in all categories in his annual review and evaluation by the Maui Police Commission.

Categories in which he was evaluated include areas of leadership such as continued department accreditation, community relations, standards of professionalism and management of the department’s administrative and budgetary responsibilities, according to a news release from the department.

The evaluation was for the period from Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31.
