Organization to receive $1.3 million
Maui Family Support Services will receive $1.3 million for its Early Head Start program, U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz announced last month.
Schatz said that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was awarding $2.7 million to Hawaii organizations, including Maui Family Support Services.
Early Head Start provides support services to low-income families with infants and toddlers, along with promoting early childhood development, health and school readiness.
