Ground is scheduled to be broken this morning for the Kalama Kai residential workforce housing condominium project in Kihei.

Most of the 40 fee-simple units have been sold, although more than a handful of three-bedroom, two-bathroom units remain on the market for $472,100 to $477,100, according to information provided by Realtors.

Located at 45 Kanani Road, the project plans include construction of a swimming pool, barbecue area and parking spaces. 

Armstrong Development is building the condo units.
