• Maui Scene/UH-Maui College event. Saturday’s UH-Maui College Ho’olaule’a on the school campus runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The times for the event on Pages 4 and 13 in Thursday’s Maui Scene were incorrect.
Maui Scene is produced by the Special Sections division in the newspaper’s advertising department.
• Queen Ka’ahumanu Center. A story published Wednesday about security at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center in light of a recent machete attack reported that a mall official who corresponded with a tenant complaining about loiterers is no longer with the company.
Kevin Jones, who represents mall owner Seligman Group, did not disclose the reason for the manager’s departure but noted that the manager’s email to the tenant was inappropriate. The story that started on Page A1 and continued on Page A4 incorrectly characterized the manager’s leaving the company.
