Dui Sentences

THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of July 30 to Aug. 9. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Michael Edmund, 30, Kihei; DUI, open container; two-day jail term, $150 fine, plus fees.

Vincent Evalu, 28, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $250 in fines, plus fees.

Alika Kaahanui, 22, Kahului; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Juaquin Navarro Bonillas, 22, Wailuku; DUI; $150 fine, plus fees.

Clinton Remegio, 26, Makawao; DUI (second offense within five years); five-day jail term, $500 fine, plus fees, 18-month license revocation.

Molokai District Court:

Scott Dudoit, 43, Kaunakakai; DUI; $150 fine, plus fees.
