Police seek help in assault cases

Maui Crime Stoppers and police are seeking the public’s help regarding two assault incidents in Wailuku on Friday where an adult man suffered severe injuries requiring advanced medical care and treatment.

On Friday between 9:30 and 10 p.m., an adult male was assaulted in the parking lot of Saigon Palace at 310 Hookahi St. in Wailuku. He was assaulted again along the roadway in front of Surf Truck Rentals at 260 Hookahi St.

Anyone with information about the assaults is asked to contact Detective Matthew Bigoss at 244-6313 or the police nonemergency line at 244-6400. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous is asked to call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966.
